Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Tyldan Labs LLC (“Tyldan,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use Signals at signalsapp.io (the “Service”), how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address, your password (stored only as a one-way hash), and, if you add them, your first and last name.
- Your content: watchlists and their symbols, saved screens, price alerts and their notes, trade journal entries and notes, settings, and the choices you make during setup.
- Signals AI conversations: the questions you ask, the answers you receive, and any thumbs-up or thumbs-down rating you give.
- Payment information: when you subscribe, you give your card details and billing address to our payment processor, Stripe, directly. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We keep your subscription status, billing dates, and the identifiers Stripe gives your customer record and subscription.
- Messages to us: anything you send us, including through our contact form.
If you import trades from a file, we store the trades you import, not the file itself, and we do not store brokerage account numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in sessions: the IP address and browser description (user agent) of each device you sign in from.
- Server logs: the IP address, time, and page or action of each request our servers receive, including the form fields sent with it, with passwords, email addresses, and similar secrets removed.
- Usage records: when you sign in, and which areas of the Service you used on which days (for example, Watchlists or the Trade Journal), without a record of what you viewed there. We also count email verification and import attempts and their outcomes.
- How you reached Signals: when you create an account, the site that referred you (its address, without any query string), any campaign tags in the link you followed, the first page you arrived on, and whether you registered with an invite or a beta code. We use this only to count where signups come from.
- Signals AI usage records: separately from your saved conversations, which are described below, we log each Signals AI request’s model, outcome, the names of any tools it used, and its processing volume and cost. These usage records do not include your questions or the answers.
- Visits to our public website: our public pages at signalsapp.io, such as the home and pricing pages, use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google receives your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. The app at app.signalsapp.io does not use Google Analytics.
- Account events: your trial, subscription, and account status, email preferences, email delivery records, and when you accepted these policies.
How we use information
- To provide the Service, including running your scans, alerts, and journal, and answering your Signals AI questions.
- To bill your subscription and calculate sales tax on it.
- To send email you need, such as verification, password reset, trial, and billing notices, and email you can turn off, such as price alerts and product tips.
- To keep the Service and your account secure, and to prevent abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, which features are used, and to review and improve the quality and safety of Signals AI.
- To respond to you and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
How Signals AI handles your conversations
When you ask Signals AI a question, we send your question, the recent turns of that conversation, and a description of the page you are on to our AI service providers: an AI routing service, which passes it to the AI model provider we have selected. When it is relevant to your question or the page you are on, we may also send data from your account:
- Watchlists: their names, symbols, and results.
- Price alerts: each alert’s symbol, condition, threshold, status, and prices.
- Trade Journal: the trades you record (symbol, buy or sell, quantity, price, fees, and date, but not your notes), your open positions, closed lots, and realized and unrealized profit and loss.
- Journal Analytics: the figures shown on that page, such as win rate, fees, dividends, and holding periods.
- Settings: your notification preferences, saved Options filters, and each watchlist’s settings.
We do not send your name or email address. These providers process the request under their own terms, which may allow them to keep it for a limited time, for example to monitor abuse.
Conversations are saved so you can return to them from your history. Our authorized personnel may read conversations to review the assistant’s quality and safety and to resolve problems; each such access is logged.
Who we share information with
We share personal information with service providers who process it for us, in these categories:
- Hosting: runs the Service and stores its data.
- Payments: receives your email address, card details, and billing address to process payments and calculate sales tax.
- Email delivery: receives your email address and the messages we send you.
- AI processing: handles Signals AI requests as described above.
- Website analytics: measures visits to our public website, as described above.
- Content your browser loads directly: some pages load fonts, a charting library, or news images from other websites, which receive your IP address and browser information when your browser requests the file. The account creation form may also load a security check that tells people from automated signups; its provider also learns how your browser responds to the check.
The current providers, what each receives, and where it operates are listed on our Service Providers page, which we update when they change.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others, and to a successor if Tyldan or the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Market data providers receive only the symbols we request from them, not information about you.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies that are needed for the Service to work: one keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and one protects forms against forgery, carries on-screen messages, and, before you create an account, holds how you reached Signals until you register. We also save display preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as your theme, font, selected watchlist, and chart height.
Our public website, but not the app, also sets Google Analytics cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. You can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on without affecting the Service.
How long we keep information
- Account and your content, including your trade journal, watchlists, alerts, and screens: for as long as your account exists.
- Sign-in session records (the IP address and browser description of each device): until you sign out of that session, reset your password, or your account is deleted, and never more than 30 days after you sign in.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
- Payment and tax records: Stripe keeps records of your payments and the tax charged on them for as long as tax and accounting law requires, including after your account is deleted.
- Signals AI conversations, sign-in times, usage records, how you reached Signals, and Signals AI usage records: up to 25 months, after which they are deleted automatically. Many are deleted sooner, and you can ask us to delete your Signals AI conversations at any time.
When your account is deleted, we delete your account and content. Usage records remain until their retention period ends, Signals AI usage records and the record of how you reached Signals are kept without any link to you, and we keep a one-way hash of your email address as a record that the deletion took place.
Your choices and rights
- Update your information in Settings.
- Email: turn product tips and price alert emails on or off in Settings. Email needed to operate your account, such as verification, password reset, trial, and billing notices, cannot be turned off.
- Export your trade journal as a CSV file from the Journal.
- Access, correct, copy, or delete your personal information, including just your Signals AI conversations, through our contact form, using the email address on your account.
We respond to requests within 45 days and will not treat you differently for making one. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us and we will honor them as required.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, restricted and logged staff access, and limits on sign-in and signup attempts. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
The Service is offered only to residents of the United States. We are based in the United States and store and process information there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
